Favorite Pin - can I let it go?

This pin has turned out to be my favorite - whomever buys it I hope enjoys wearing it as much as I did creating it and looking at it!

This pin was made using some of my new Prima Essentials that I ordered in a buy from Jody's Blog.

This dragonfly pin is another I made for my mom to take in to her work. I liked how it turned out :)

Tried a sketch card

This was a sketch challenge I saw at SplitCoast Stampers. I can't recall what number I just liked it so gave it a go :) I used TAC Brighten My Day designercollection for the patterned papers. Cut 2 of my Mega Scalloped Ovals one in the floral pattern paper and one out of white cs. then I cut the scallop part off the white to fit into the other oval. I dabbed my Belle Rose Palette Ink across the white cs then stamped with another TAC stamp the hello using my Black Noir Palette Ink. I added the little Dragonfly Bling that I found in my stash. Inside it says Congratulations. I used this for a prize package I was sending out.

More of the Backgrounds with a Twist!

For some reason the post I did of all 4 Backgrounds With a Twist the other day was overlapping some pictures so I cut 2 and am reposting. This one was pretty simple I used a Art Accentz Bradletz from Provo Craft in the shape of a postage stamp. I cut a used postage stamp that I had one hand - always save the cancelled postage you never know when it will come in handy! Mounted it on the background and used the text stamp from the Flowers & Elements FAE 3.06 sheet from Innovative Stamp Creations for the text side. Used my Black Slick Writer to drawer the dividing line and the address lines. I then mounted it on black cardstock to make it a bit more sturdy.

This one is made with half of the background paper I received (bottom of the atc) and then Basic Grey paper on top. I used a cuttlebug diecut from the background paper I received to make the ribbon slide and a scrap piece of lace to thread through it. The flower is also a Sizzix diecut and I used a green brad I had on hand for the center of it. The memories stamp is from TAC and the Forever stamp is from Just Rite.

Backgrounds with a Twist

I participated in a swap where we each made 4 backgrounds and sent them in to be swapped out and then we got 4 different ones back to create atc's out of. These are the finished products from the backgrounds I received. This was fun since you didn't know what type of backgrounds you would get.

For this one I did not know how the background was made so when I saw the great pink, red white combo of it I immediately thought of my flowers stamps from Innovative Stamp Creations that I just got. I stamped with my Versafine and noticed it wasn't drying so I put on some clear embossing and zapped it with my heat gun. Only not only did the embossing melt but the background started to also. It started to look kind of creamy and when I stopped the heat and it dried it appears to be waxy. Still no idea what the background was but I liked how it loked a bit muted now. I added a button center and tied off with some CTMH Waxy Flax. And the Thanks charm tag I had on hand also not sure from where and attached it with a brad from my misc. collection.

For this one I had received the fabulous green and white wax paper resist background. I stamped my Viva Las Vegas Bamboo on it and cut it out and then just did a series of matting with black cardstock from The Paper Place in Wellington, OH. I then added a charm I had on hand (probably from Bits'nPieces- one of my favorite places to shop!) and used some CTMH Waxy Flax to tie off on the top of the charm.

Sketch Card

This is a sketch card for a swap I made. I love the patterned paper from DCWV and I used my TAC Seminar stamp set for the girl - So glad I am going and got this freebie set! The "I'm so glad" is from Clearly Wordsworth as is the inside "were friends" (not shown.) This was an easy but fun one and I really like how it turned out!
