On the top half of the card I used a cotton ball and Blue Designer Chalks to make a sky. I then used my die cut to make a sun to add which I also used a cotton ball to apply a bit of Orange Designer Chalk to them for a little more "pop". I used pieces of pop dot to affix them to the cardstock. Then I tore a piece of wallpaper I found in the junk drawer (you know y'all have one of them too!) for a sand like appearance, added some seashell stickers I had and then used my Brother label maker to do the word "beach" and layer on. The quote from Calvin was added to the card using pop dots also. Not a hard one but I am pleased with how they turned out. I sure hope the others in this swap are enjoying my shares as much as I am enjoying theirs!

Hey, pretty card, good composition and a neat idea using the Brother label maker and the coloured tape! I like the look of the old fashioned Dymo tapes on cards, and this is a great idea, too (cos I've got a Brother tapemaker that only gets used at the beginning of each school year!)I wonder whether you could stain/dye the white tape with dye inks ?
