Why not claim a victory over something that is so devastating to many. I colored the ribbon by smushing my Brilliance Pearlescent Orchid Ink Pad onto it and then cut it out. I used some Crayola pink glitter glue I had to highlight the inside ring of the ribbon and then I hand wrote "I won!" in the center. I decided that I didn't want it to be a card that got left sitting around but rather something a person could take with them or leave somewhere for others to find :) I made it a bookmark by mounting it on some black cs that I cut and rounded the corners of and then mounted on pink cs. I then punched a hole near the top and added some funky pink fiber I have had for who knows how long but that was big and fluffy and made me think happy thoughts! (and yes I did leave some laying around the library to be "found")
I have been asked am I a survivor by some people who I gave this too and no I have not had breast cancer nor do I currently have it that I am aware of but yes it has touched my family and a friend so I do try to give time, crafts or offer help to raise money to help to find a cure for this disease.
