Doodle It

So the swap called for doodles and I was having a hard time but then I thought this little bear that I got in an image swap along the way somewhere was adorable so I picked him up and colored him with my **new**Copic Markers!

Oh yeah I splurged when I finally got back my insurance money from the PO for a package they botched last summer!

Yeah he was pretty cute I figured I could doodle something to go with him. I picked coordinating papers I had on hand from Hollo's to match the colors of markers I had chosen while coloring the bear in. Then I used my TAC Level C Hostess Set from the Fall/Winter 2007 catalog and my Palette Noir Ink Pad to make the doodles around the edges of the top brown layer. After layering up I kinda thought it all looked naked still so I added the pretty May Arts polka dot ribbon along the side. To get rid of some of the "white glare." I then used the Ellison thin cuts corner die to add the pink corners on top of the bear image piece.

I was pretty pleased with how it turned out and I hope my partner will enjoy it too!

I am still not able to access all my pics from the old computer but I am able to scan and use some from this one now so hopefully I can get back to the business of blogging regularly!
