Modern Grid Sparkle & Shine Valentine

I played a little with the Modern Grid technique from TJ.

Using my CTMH Love set (booking W 2002) I randomly stamped hearts with my L'Amoure Red Palette Ink onto a piece of white card stock from Hollo's. I then used the word stamp from the same set and stamped Love a few times using my Bordeaux Palette Ink.

Using my ruler and pencil I lightly drew my lines in being careful to not run over my images/words. I then used my AWESOME Spica Lavender pen to trace my lines over. The glittery effect is great and no mess! LOL right up my alley!

With my Pink Slick Writer Marker I colored in a few random squares and then using my Le Plume II Pastel Markers #62 Wisteria and # 47 Pale Pink I colored other random squares in, again being sure to not go over my stamped images.

To add to the subtle effects of the Spica Pen glitter I added some Diamond Stickles to two of the hearts! Since the card really doesn't lend itself to embellies I decided to "pop" up two other hearts using some foam tape. Also two of the squares have 3D Crystal Laquer on them for some shine value :)

I am happy with the results and this card will be part of a valentine package I am sending out! I hope they enjoy it.

later..................
