Wintery Faux Silk

I played some more with the faux silk last night and did a wintery set of ATC's.

I used my Mini Snowman set from TAC (T-1183) and stamped one of the cute little guys onto my white tissue paper. Then I used my Palette Inks in Sun Flower and Prussian Blue to dab a bit of color onto his jacket and scarf. I used white paper from Hollo's for my background and edged it with the Prussian Blue to give it a little definition then layered it onto yellow paper that I had also edged with the Prussian Blue. I then layered this onto some pretty blue scrap paper I had laying around, probably from the Paper Place here by me. I then cut a circle with my Marvy Jumbo out of the yellow, edged it with the Prussian Blue, added a snowflake brad and added the giggle sticker (a scarp from somewhere). I set it to line up with the opposing sides of the ATC so it sits off kilter a little when I adhered it with my handy dandy glue dots! LOL

I think it is pretty cute - I love the texture that the faux silk has and I wish my scanner picked it up better.

If you haven't tried this one yet give it a go - there is a link in post from yesterday to the technique directions.

later...........
