I made this card for a Winter swap theme. I used my craft mat that my friend Anna Banana sent me :) I dabbed my Prussian Blue Palette Ink on it a few places then spritzed it with my mini spritzer of alcohol. I turned my glossy card stock over and dropped it onto the ink mess LOL.! I picked it back up and walah a one of a kind background! Since I was going for a wintery look I didn't use any other colors but I bet it would work with multiple colors too and I will surely be giving that a try soon here!
Once I had my background paper made I gathered some scraps of paper from the huge pile I am trying to clean up and made a cuttlebug piece with snowflakes, I used my McGill Craftivity Square Punch to cut it out. I used my Marvy Scalloped Square (Red square one) and punched a piece of the glossy white cardstock. I edged it with the Prussian Blue and then mounted my cuttlebugged piece onto it.
I used another scrap piece of the same color blue, stamped it with my New Canvas Palette Ink and a cute little snowflake stamp, edged it with the Prussian Blue; then put it along the side using 4 light blue brads to keep it attached. Then I edged the background paper I made with the Prussian Blue too. I stamped the Just a note also with the Prussian Blue and then mounted this onto the blue card base. I then turned my snowflake piece at an angle and affixed it with some thin foam tape above the saying. Pretty simple card and I like the use of only 2 colors.
