Dew Drops?

Dew drops or should I say Faux Dew Drops. A friend sent these to me and I fell in love with the assortment of colors she was able to get. I have some "real" dew drops also and to be honest there is not that much difference here. They add a great touch to cards with a little dimension and bling factor without being overpowering I think. I have used them on past cards too as raindrops, corner fillers, water droplets and again just to fill space like this one LOL! They are light weight, small and mini glue dots work perfectly for them!

This is the card in all it's glory lol! I used a couple things I have been wanting to try on this one and incorporated it all into my Sketch Challenge for a swap. I used my Melon Spica Glitter Pen to color parts of the butterfly in. then I added a bit of the Purple Spica Glitter pen to accent some and tie it together with the papers I had choosen. The Purple Pattern, Green Pattern and Yellow base card stock all pretty much tied to gether nicely. I wish I had left off the rubbing around the butterfly stamped piece. I had been reading about it on Gina K's Blog that she was using the rubs to edge her paper with great results - well I didn't get such great ones but they were ok enough. Maybe more practice is all I need LOL - yeah that's it more practice!

Thanks for stopping by and looking let me know what you think :)

I love this card by the way the purple is fantastic. The dew drops are great too. I haven't gotten my hands on any yet, but I will. Hope you had a great weekend with the girls....Joan
