A friend from another list sent me these most adorable images to play with. She has posted several cards with them and well they are too cute to pass up so I begged - yep on hands and knees LOL for some to play with. No really she was quite nice and sent me several to play with. I want to find a couple of them to have for myself so have been on the search for a place that has them that will ship to the US. They are Tilda images and this is one of them...

The background is a Wax Paper Resist from the class taught on S4F. I am brayer challenged so I used my Stampin' Spots to drag across and blend the colors together. I really liked the effect it gave, a little bolder lines than brayering. Anyway I then colored Tilda in with my Copic markers and this was my first time using my Copic Blender Marker (see the center of the dress how it is lighter. I also dabbed it on the shoes but didn't take very much off there at all.)
I used my ruler to do a sorta "out of the box" to the image and then added her to the Wax Resist background which was matted onto a pink card base. The sentiment was stamped on matching pink paper. I used a scrap of white paper to make a mat and using a second piece of scrap paper I made an edge and dragged one of the Copics around it to make a border. Then I matted the pink sentiment with the edged white piece and put it a little off kilter towards the top.
I was really happy with this card and the textured look of it although for the most part it is smooth card stock LOL!
Hope you enjoyed looking.
