I followed a TUT online at Pamela's That showed how to make 12 cards from 3 papers,
not including the base cards. You can add whatever embellies you wish and finish off with whatever stamps you choose also. These are my base cards and as I finish them I am taking pics and listing supplies so that I can share them with you as I go :) This was a great way to delve into that super stash of patterned papers and play a little. Give it a try - as you can see although you are using the same papers none of them are the same!
Most are done on White Card Stock bases as I had extras already cut from doing the Graduation Open House Invites for my daughter, but a few are done on other colors and that almost changed the whole look by itself!
Her directions also are for using 6.5" x 5" card bases which I didn't have so I used them on regular A2 Card bases and simply adjusted the cut pieces to fit the cards. This left me with a little extra bits and pieces that I wasn't able to use since I didn't plan ahead LOL but hey I am happy about using different patterns together and having cards ready to just add sentiments to as I need them. I am working on another set that will be a gift for someone too.
Papers I used were DCWV and Paper Stack from JoAnne's. the base card stock is from The Paper Place in Wellington, OH.
Leave me a link if you give it a try -- would love to see what your's look like!
