Isn't this little chick the cutest thing :)
He is from TAC Just Giggle Set (TA-2816)
which was one of the hostess sets I got from my party order.
I stamped him two times with Sunflower Palette Ink onto white card stock from The Paper Place. Then I cut them real close with my Cutter Bee Scissors which I LOVE LOVE LOVE!
My daughter bought them for me :)
I matted them onto black paper, also from The Paper Place. Then I dug into my scraps pile and found this cool paper that someone made with splashing paint onto it I think. There were 2 kinds, one a thin paper and the other a thicker cardboard type. I cut two squares out with my scalloped punch then also cut sections to layer onto the side/top of the cards. I layered Mr. Chicky onto the scalloped punches for both cards. One I lined up and affixed the smaller sections along the side of the card, alternating the thin and thicker paper. I used some May Arts Black with White Polka Dots ribbon to put over the edges (you know to hide the uneven cuts LOL!) the second card I layered everything onto a black card front and used only 2 pieces of the thinner paper leaving black showing for 2 of the strips.
I stamped the word stamp just giggle on each card, one with Noir ink and the other with New Canvas Palette ink.
Here are the two completed cards.
