On my Yahoo group one of the things we do is to have classes/tutorials and this past week one of the gals did this Diamond Fold card. While I like the concept I admit I am a little baffled by what to so with it as it really seems there is no place to add a sentiment or to write a short note on it.
Above is the closed card and below is the open one.
Supplies I used on this one were Paper from Joann's HUGE paper stack I bought eons ago LOL! Other paper from DCWV and also from Hollo's paper store. Stamps are FireCrackerDesigns by Pamela Daisy Tops set. I used Landscape, orangerie, Cognac and Sun Flower Palette Ink to stamp and color. I dabbed my SU Blender pen to the pads and colored the flowers that way :)

So what do you think? What would you do with this card? It just doesn't seem to be complete? useful? I am not sure what...lol!
Well...........................
after much thinking and pondering about this my mind recalled a previous tutorial I had done somewhere for a similar card so I gave it another go and this is what I ended up with.

Basically I made the same card...backwards and used some more layering paper on the top.
Supplies I used on this card were same papers as above, same stamp set as above done with Orangerie Palette Ink, Sentiment is TAC Be Still T-2890 stamped in Versafine Onyx Black Ink. This time I colored the flowers with my Prisma Watercolor pencils and used my SU Blender pen to blend them together some.

I am sending these both to a friend and see what her opinion is on them but please share your's too - I'd like the feedback :)
