Whiff of Joy Guest Designer Call

I decided I wanted to take part in Katharina's Guest Designer call.
I took the Challenge and used her sketch to create this card.

Stamp is a Tilda from Magnolia, she is normally holding balloons but I didn't like them on the card so I "popped" them :) She was stamped with VersaFine Onyx Black and then I colored her in with my Prisma Watercolor Pencils and my SU Blender pen. I cut her out using my Cutterbees and used my Black Copic to go around her so no white edge was showing.

For the paper I choose to use DCWV for my solids and then Basic Grey Euphoria for the floral layer. I like the combination of smooth and texture that it gave. I rounded my corners on my layers and base card with my Marvy corner rounder and then used my Lavender Sachet Palette Ink to edge all the pieces. My Marvy Super Scalloped Circle and my Marvy Jumbo Circle were used for the sentiment to be stamped on. Sentiment is from TAC called It's the little Things and inside it says "that bless our lives the most." I really like this set! (TAC TA-2876) I also used one of my giant circle super sticky foam dots for the sentiment before mounting it to the scalloped mat to give the card a little more depth.

I choose some white and purple ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and used it across the card top. I really love her ribbon!

Finally I finished it off with a dab of some Stickles on her wings. Seems like they are not complete without a little shine/shimmer.

Thanks for looking :) Don't forget to give it a try yourself you can find all the details here:
