I am proud to announce I am on the DT team now for Crafts 4 Eternity
It is a sketch challenge blog and I look forward to many new card layouts to try out...won't you join me too...hop over and check them out!
This was a fun card to make with my new Parisian Romance stamp set from FCD. I used my L'Amoure Red Palette Ink to stamp the heart and sentiment onto pink card stock (from the scrap bin!) then I did a little paper piercing in the corners of the maroon paper where I mounted the heart. I used some other patterned paper to layer on also. Used my cool Sakura pens to color parts of the heart/ribbon in before topping it with a little Pearl-Ex in Macropearl (as well as the sentiment piece.) I added some rhinestones and then some strips of ribbon along each side of the sentiment. It was an easy card to pull together once all the pieces parts were ready. I laid everything out, added my sticky tape and then started assembling it all.
I think I will add a layer of white edged with ink to the inside so it is easier to see any writing on that a person might want to include.
Have fun with your try at the challenge - I look forward to checking all the links out on the Crafts 4 Eternity blog!
