C4E-20

Wow another week has flown by and here it is time for the weekly sketch from Crafts4Eternity. Not only is it time for a new sketch but the winner from last week is announced on the blog too!

Don't forget to check out all the fabulous cards from the DT team and leave them some comment love...we all like that now don't we :)

So this card we had a birthday theme (twas supposed to be leap year but I did regular birthday as I will be needing lots of these soon!) So I choose to play with some wonderful patterned paper I found in my scrap bin from CTMH. It is soft pink with paisleys on it, really pretty! I stamped the butterfly from So Sweet (TAC) and then ran it through the cuttlebug using an oval nestie. I then edged the paper with some French Lilac Palette ink. I just layered and matted more of the same papers up to make my sidebar type piece. I used silver brads to affix the ribbon over that. Then I added a corner of purple and lots of bling rhinestones I found on my desktop!

I used pop dots to adhere the sentiment and again other than adding a coordinating corner piece in the inside with the paisley paper I left it blank until I decide who I will be using it for.

Can't wait to see your cards using the sketch - be sure to leave me a link so I can take a look see :) At least link on Michele's site as I do check it regularly and try to stop by everyone's blog or gallery to check them out.

Don't forget too to check out the blog hop from FCD you can start here... there is candy at the end :) You have until Wednesday February, 25th at 8:00 PM EST to enter!
