Inky Impressions 1st Design Team Call

Good afternoon everyone :)

I wanted to be sure to get this posted up in time and thanks to some coaxing from Anna I was reminded to get on it! So here is a new card - colored fresh this AM and another I just really love that I want to share with Nicole who I don't think saw it the first time :)

Interesting thing about Inky Impressions is that she is in Cleveland OH or at least that is what her profile says and that is close to me! Not even an hour away!

Nicole hope you are enjoying the first day of Spring here in Ohio - it is sun shining anyway and that puts a smile on my face!

ok....on to the cards and coloring!

I received this image in a swap so all I know is that it is a Hanglar & Stanglar image - I don't know what the stamp name itself is. It appeared to be stamped on watercolor type paper. I used several Copic Markers in coloring this one. I really am pleased with how the pants and tie turned out! Colors used were Eoo, E21, E02, Y00, Y02, Y21 - makes great blonde hair I think!, YG91, YG95, E35 and E37. I added some Shimmerz Candle Light to the wings but you can't see it well IRL but boy does it shimmer in person!

I made the card base from Paper Temptress Jellybean Green Pop Tones paper - love the Pop Tones! Colors are fabulous! I added some paper from Making Memories Travel 6x6 pad and then decided to loosly follow the sketch from C4E-22 which I felt allowed the image and the paper both to be shown off! Instead of a strip across the bottom I added a cuttlebugged tag and some ribbon from my March Ribbon Club package from Really Reasonable Ribbon. After looking at it a bit I decided to add some Raindrops along the edge of the paper at the top right.

Course to get rid of the harsh paper edges I used ink to edge the papers and this time I grabbed the Palette Burnt Umber pad. I also stamped hey there from the same named TAC set - left it kind of a general use card for right now - I can add more sentiment to the inside later to taylor it to what I need.

And a second card that shows off my coloring ability it this bunny hugs one! I just really like this card and it is currently on my display board so I can look up at it while I am crafting! I love to look up and know that something up there will make me smile! LOL

I originally posted this on Feb 28th - yep this card has been on the happy wall for several weeks now :) LOL! Anyway if you want to know more there about it, here is the link.

I do also upload all the pictures to my gallery at Split Coast Stamper, Paper Craft Planet and my gallery at Stampers Corner. I also share on groups and I send cards in swaps too to get the images out there :) If you want to see other things I do besides cards pleasefeel free to stroll through my blog and you will find a variety of things scattered round including pins, booklets and atc's just to mention a couple.

Thanks for looking!
