This card was a fun, quick and easy one to put together! Even with trying out a new technique from the current TJ newsletter called Chalk Lines. I used my pastels to cover the background like a landscape starting with a bit of brown and working myself up to a blueish-purple sky. Did the "lines" part and then grabbed the fabulous bridge stamp from FCD set called Bridge of Thoughts and used the small plant from the Silhouette Flowers to stamp the scene. Yeah I know one of the birds kind of looks like it is dive bombing the people but I had turned the stamp more than I realized and oh well it adds some character! I decided to mat with the black since I had stamped in black and I added a orange-brown card base and then stamped the sentiment on that, mounting it on a scalloped circle.
Like I said a simple easy card but it is very pretty .... if I say so myself! LOL
