Pear Notecard

Believe it or not I still write the occasional note to a friend and I know some other people that do also so I like to make cards with no sentiment on them and just a pretty front. Course one can always add a greeting or something later if they choose too. This card was made by pairing (pun intended...lol) the Pear stamp from Elemental Doodles First Fruits set and some gorgeous patterned paper from DCWV.

I stamped the pear onto some cream textured paper I had in the scrap bin using my Palette inks Lanscape and Cognac. I colored the leaves with Copic marker YG95. Although I missed the deadline for posting (darn me not getting to my camera in time to upload the pics!) I did base this on the sketch from Stamp Something for the week of 3/28.

Added the ribbon and the droplets to finish it off and give it some pizazz!
