Birthday Minder

ETA: here is the link to the basic tutorial I followed in making this Minder, sorry to have omitted it before. Have fun!

Awhile back I saw on someone else's blog and Art Share and I decided to participate...
sadly it didn't go as well for me...there are still 2 spots open on mine
(you can click here for more info if you like)

This is one of the projects I made to send to one of the people who participated. It is a Birthday Minder book. As you can see in the photo above there are small calendars on the pockets so that you can write down the names and dates of the birthday people. Then each is a pocket so you an slip a card into the pocket and have it ready to go .

I used some great paper called Near & Dear - Andrea Kelly Shults Designs from Dream Streets Papers to decorate the front and back covers. I love the large flowers and the blue and brown together!

I also used FireCracker Designs stamps from the Happy Everything, Clearly Time, With a Flourish and Birthday Balloons to decorate Inside and the front cover.

I had a little trouble with my BIA - I just can't seem to get the hang of it! Oy! Practice practice practice I know. I wasn't too terribly off though :)

I do hope that the person I sent it to enjoys it. It was fun to make!

What a lovely idea, and so much work has gone into it. I'm sure whoever gets it will really appreciate it.

This is not only gorgeous, but a fabulous idea! I have a little birthday book and every month I'm checking the birthdays. But a card holder too! Now that's fabulous! I definitely need one of those.
