Mini Treasure Box

I can't believe that this month is already flying by me! I am finishing up my Guest Designer Spot for Elemental Doodles and I made a mini treasure box to send Mel this month!

I used the Mystic Fairy set to make background paper with the doodle nd the butterfly. I then colored them with Metallic and Gelly Roll pens. Next I ran it thru the Cuttlebug to add some Dots. Cut it to size and adhered it to the match box. I then stamped and cut out the small leaf sprigs in the cone. I used my Metallic Glaze Gel pens to color the purple and then my Green Gelly Roll pen for the leaves. After adding some purple and black polka dotted ribbon around I adhered the sprig to the top of the box.

For the bottom I used rhinestones on each corner to make "feet" for it to stand on.
**Tip: "feet" make it stand nicer and you don't notice the small overlap of paper that is covering the matchbox and the ribbon. Without "feet" you usually have a bit of a wobble.

Inside I packed as many goodies as I good for her including some riibon, brads and charms. Matchboxes are fun to do and great to for giving little candies in!

Enjoy!

Now that is super. You should offer that in blog candy, because I'd sure have at least 100 entries! I love it and she's one lucky lady to get this.
