Betsy at Innovative Stamp Creations has a great sketch up on her blog to work with.
I decided to give it a go with her wonderful set Oriental Nature Elements.
This butterfly is so pretty and I wanted to feature it on the card so I simply
dabbed my various Palette Inks across the stamp until it was covered,
huffed on it and then stamped it onto some Neenah Classic Crest card stock.
I cut another piece of Neenah Classic Crest with my small oval Nestie and then

I cut another piece of Neenah Classic Crest with my small oval Nestie and then
stamped the flowers onto it while the Nestie as in place to give a plain border.
I edged it with a bit of Burnt Umber Palette Ink to give it a little dimension when I laid it
on the pattern paper from Paper Studio's Pink Armadillo Collection. The rhinestones were added to give it a little more sparkle and flair as well as one of the flowers stamped and cut and layered up with the petals a little curled. The bottom of the paper was cut with my Threading Water punch. The card base is Hot Fudge Pop Tones card stock from The Paper Temptress.
See the ribbon on the bottom threaded behind the pretty green circle? That circle is actually a paper clip that I happened to see while I was out at Staples getting things for the office on Wednesday! The whole package was marked down and I thought they would make excellent embellishments! I got a couple different packs so hope to be incorporating them into my cards, some might just go to my blog candy winner this month too :) You never know what day will be the mystery day and if you commented you will have a chance to win. I really like this way of doing blog candy, saying thank you to my readers for stopping by!

I LOVE the butterfly especially!! At first glance I thought you found dye die paper and cut it with your machine!!
I love the ribbon and paper clip - I like the way it pulls the ribbon in -great effect!
and I never thought to stamp on top of my nesties with the metal on it to create an edge - I think I need to steal that idea!!
