Christmas in July

FireCracker Designs by Pamela is sponsoring this week at Stamp Something which is Christmas in July so I am sharing my take on the challenge with you :)

I used the sketch from June Stamper's Quest and the color combo for swap I was in to complete this card. I also used a new technique I learned from Technique Junkies for coloring this one.

Papers used were from Paper Temptress (Banana and Gumdrop Green Pop Tones) with a patterned paper from a mat stack I got from Joann's eons ago. I thought it sorta looked like snowflakes :)
The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and tied the color scheme together nicely.

Stamps of course are from FireCracker Designs by Pamela one of my favorite stamps called Snow - Chin Up. This snowman is too cute and I used the snowflake from the set for the bottom along the Banana card stock.

Embellishments I used are Glitter Dots from the Dress It Up Collection a Jesse James Co. and also some Rain Dots from Fiskars.

I hope you will give the challenge a try and share your Christmas in July with us!

Speaking of Christmas in July - get a head start on your shopping with the new singles that are being released today! Make sure you hop over to FireCracker Designs today and check out the New line of singles Pamela is posting. (noonish!)

Off now for a bit then will come back and force post my post from yesterday that didn't go through due to blogger's on going temper tantrum :(
