Last week while I was on vacation I snuck in some time to go meet Pamela the woman behind FireCracker Designs by Pamela :) She is awesome and I am so glad I made time to get together with her, it wasn't nearly enough but I look forward to more in the future!
Anyway we were goofing off a bit in her studio and I mentioned an idea I had using 2 of her stamps. So she said well go for it and so I did :)
Now I am not any kind of artist who can draw so please forgive the basicness of the sketched part LOL!
I tried out a background with the brayer and it was pretty neat so went with that as my background, stamped right onto it and then made some layers up and even used one of the elephant diecuts on it. Coloring was done with Copic markers and then I simply mounted it onto the black and then onto the base card.

I LOVE IT!! What an adorable scene!! Awesome idea chick!
I really like this, Karyn! Love the vintage circus scene.
You did a SUPER job on it!! LOVE the end results too!! your sketching gives it just the right 'old world' circus charm!
I love this card, your background is cool, but I love the elements of the card! Now, tell me the part you sketched, it looks so good I can't tell which is stamped and which isn't! Your lady rocks, in fact the whole card is wonderful, if you don't have anyone to send it too, well...... *smile*
super cute card!
That is so cute! The sketching just adds the right touch to the card.
This is such a wonderful idea and an awesome card! Your scene is fabulous- love the Elephant on the 'Ball'- I will be for sure CASE your card idea! How fun to stamp with Pamela-lucky you!
very fun card!
Karyn - you clever girl! :o)
What a super idea to combine the lady from women in character with the elephant and circle stamp to make a circus scene! Your "enclosure" piece that separates the show from the audience looks really great - did you sketch that part? LOVE LOVE LOVE this card! :o)
