It is time to blog hop with FCD!
This month's theme is "Autumn & Mesh"
We were asked to create any piece of that focused on this theme.
******************************
The official start time of this Hop is Friday, October 16, 2009 at 8:00 AM (EST).
If you arrived early, please be patient as all the links may not be live yet.

(YES I know I have a LOT of favorites - no need to point that out!)
It is the Medium Crow - Pamela says this little guy is HARD to keep in stock and in fact he is out of stock right now - oops so sorry about that you can email her to hurry up and get some more in though cause you know you need him NOW! teehee
I found a chipboard tag frame while looking for something else and set it aside thinking oh I should do something with that so after looking at it a few days on my desktop I decided it would make a good magnet for the fridge. I used my Memento Inks in Dessert Sand, Rhubarb Stalk, Potter's Clay, Rich Cocoa and Tuxedo Black to stamp the image and then color the chipboard frame. I colored the image in with Copic Markers Y08 * YR23 * YR16 * YG95 * YG67 * BV29 * R17 (for the red leaf on the mesh) and 0
I cut the mesh and mounted it to the back so it showed through the opening then I layered black paper on to the back and trimmed it around the frame which made the perfect backing. I added the sentiment on the top after dabbing some of the same Copic Markers onto the paper to coordinate it. I then attached the crow with both pop and red line Glue dots to the chipboard and to the mesh. The leaves are actually brads that I cut the backs off of and adhered with glue dots also. The red one was copper colored and looked yukky so added a bit of the R17 to it and think it looks pretty good now!

I added a large piece of magnet to the back so it would stick to the fridge with no problem and then added a loop of twine at the top.
I just love this Crow he has so many uses other than being stuck on a card,
although he looks great there too!
So what did everyone else do? I don't know yet either so here are the details for finding out and also how to maybe win some blog candy...read on!
This is a “circular blog hop” where the beginning is wherever you start!! You will know you are at the end of your blog hop when you’ve come back to the blog you’ve started from!
(It’s not a huge circle…so it should be easy to remember where you started.)
The winner will be chosen from a mystery blog hostess that will be announced when the hop is over…that’s why you want to leave a comment on
EVERY
blog, so you don’t miss out!
**To find out if you’ve won… you will be contacted by Pamela via e-mail (so be sure to leave it with your comment.) and you can also find out on Pamela’s blog after the blog hop ends on Mon, October 19, 2009 at 8:00 PM (EST).**
Now, to continue the circle, you will need to hop on over to Libby
Be sure and tell Libby I said Happy Autumn!
Thanks so much for playing along with us and we hope you have a great time!
