Toad-Ally Kool

I know seriously where have I been...I wish I had a really good answer but sadly it is here I am just having a rough time right now and the creative juices are not really flowing well. Lot of worry and although I know it doesn't do much good actually it harms more I have had a hard time putting it away and concentrating on other things. I also had been working on some things to submit to get published sadly the notification date has come and gone so I will start sharing those things too this week.

Did you all know that Pamela posted another card sketch (FCD017) this week and of course I had to try it out and use my new MistleToad stamps :) So here is a close up of my toad first. I colored him with Marvy Wet Look Embossing markers and then of course used clear embossing powder over him. Then see the cool puff the White Liquid Applique did for his hat ball and trim! I love that!

Then I used my Palette Inks to edge and stipple the circles I had stamped wording onto. In the back you will notice I used the toad prints with Versamark and embossing powder to make my own design on the card front! Here is the entire card to see. So remember you can see the sketch {here} and give it a try yourself also, we would love to see what you create with it.

This set is called MistleToad and is one hot tamale err I mean one hot set of stamps! LOL Pamela has only 2 sets so be sure to get yourself there and order before they are sold out!

hugs,

Adorable, I like this sketch! I had seen it and have copied it but I can't seem to find any time to play. You did a great job with the frog, love the liquid applique, super dooper!! TFS with us!

This is so adorable, Karyn!!! The hat puffs look like cottonballs! Love the realistic colors with that pop of red hat! Terrific!!
(RE: worry - I find the Serenity Prayer helps me a lot when it comes to worry - you know, "God grant me the Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference! If you can't change it, worrying will only serve to upset your peace! Hang in there!)

I sure know about the creativity walking out the door. I hope all your worries go away soon.
This card is so cute. I love the way you did it and the BG is so cute with all the footprints.

Although not my favorite new release- I frequently change my mind when I see projects completed with stamp sets- this is just adorable!!! Great sketch card!
Our priest has a You Tube video about worry- he says 1)pray, and 2) get a can and label it God Can. Take the worries you cannot do anything about and write them on a piece of paper and put them in the God can. You cannot do anything about those worries, but God Can......... Hugs!
