Thanks a Ton

 Karyn's Herringbone

Elephants on Parade is one of the best sets of stamps I have ever purchased!  The set has several different elephants and they are realistic and not round fluffy cutesy ones, although those do have a place too :)

I also happen to know that one of the reasons Pam drew them and made the stamp set is because she loves elephants. So when I found myself in need of a thank you note to send her I knew this set would be perfect!

I did a little of the herringbone technique from the technique junkies newsletter on the background and then colored and matted the image before mounting it on.  In the lower right I stamped the sentiment.

I was in such a hurry to get the card off to Pamela that I totally forgot to scan it for myself (and to share with you  guys too!) She was kind enough to do so when she received it and now I am happy to share it with you.  Enjoy!

hugs,

Signature

It's such a pretty card. I want to try the herringbone too. I just haven't figured out the colors yet.
