Whimsical Tree

I loved this Whimsical little tree when I saw it in the stamp set (Duck the Halls from FireCracker Designs) It was  my:

“IgottahavethatstampsoIcandomyChristmascardswithitNOW” stamp :) 

Funny I have only made a couple…the time just seems to have gotten away from me!  Anyway you can see I colored this one with my Prisma water color pencils and SU Blender pen for the tree. I added some bright red Rhinestone ornaments to the tree also and used Liquid Appliqué for the snow.  I love how that stuff puffs up when you zap it with the heat gun! I’ll be needing more soon (anyone need my address? I am happy to give you it. I think it might even come in more colors too which would be fun to try! LOL)

 

Here is the finished card paired with some bright red paper from Hollo’s and some sparkly striped paper from Debbie Mumm.  The Merry Christmas is cut from my Slice Holiday Expressions card and is one of the new + cards so I was able to mat it. Way cool!  **Note to self – need more of the + Slice cards!
