I have to admit I stole this clever idea from my friend Anna. It uses a Crystal Light container and the ones inside too! I repurposed it to hold some trinkets and goodies for a stamper/scrapper.

I used some blue paper I got from Joann’s a gazillion years ago to cover the container and also to punch some circles out to use on the “lids” Coordinated it with a bit of brown and found just enough Really Reasonable Ribbon that had both colors to use on top and bottom of the container to mask the slightly uneven edges of covering the paper had done. Seems I had a bit of an issue with cutting a straight line LOL!

The small inner containers were filled then I applied glue to the tops and pressed the new lids onto them. I had trouble with them adhering so I turned them upside down onto my craft mat and put something on them overnight for pressure. Worked great they were firmly stuck to the craft mat! It was easy to peel them off though and then I just rubbed the edges to get rid of the excess glue. I used the new Cherish You digital by new designer Melisa Waldorf on the outside of the stamp, it was colored with Copics and Sakura pens then I added some clear embossing over parts using my VersaMark pen and also added some stickles to the bow centers. I decided I wanted more shimmer to it and added some Angel Wings Shimmerz also to the main heart image.

Remember this is a “circular blog hop” where the beginning is wherever you start!! You will know you are at the end of your blog hop when you’ve come back to the blog you’ve started from!

(It’s not a huge circle…so it should be easy to remember where you started.)

**To find out if you’ve won… you will be contacted via e-mail (so be sure to leave it with your comment.) and you can also find out on the blogs after the blog hop ends on Mon, January 24, 2010 at 8:00 PM (EST).**

Now, to continue the circle, you will need to hop on over to Pamela’s blog and keep going until you’ve come back to where you’ve started!

What a neat project, Karyn! It coordinates so beautifully - I never would have known the ribbon on top & bottom served a purpose besides looking pretty! And it really is a perfect chioce for the paper! Love the design of this project! :o)

Karyn joy just made my day! Thank you so much for using my digi!!! I gotta tell you, my biggest fear about putting yourself out there an trying something like this is that no one will want it. I am honored my dear! You did a fabulous job coloring. I LOVE the idea of adding the embossing powder with the VersaMark pen. I have one of those and never use it. Thanks for the technique!!

Fantastic!! I love this. I save containers of all kinds so I have one of these that I can make. I didn't save the little inside containers so I will have to do something different there. Thank you so much for being a part of this blog hop. I appreciate so much your time putting something so great together for us.
