FCD Romantic Lyric Blog Hop

Our theme this month was Romantic Lyrics. I had no clue what I was going to do… I know Valentines Day was just past I should of been in the romantic mood already right?!?!?! Should of been easy right?!?!?!

Not so!!!

I was just sitting at the craft table looking at things and decided ‘whatever’ I am just going to make a card and after I was done this song just popped into my head :) You can click the title below for the link to an audio of it (upper right hand side of the page that loads) or I have copied and pasted the lyrics below for you to read.

This used Pamela’s new set Got Chocolate? I really like the versatility of this set. For the card I used the sentiment and the truffles, hmmm what flavor are they I wonder? I colored them with copic markers (E33 & E37) and used one on the patterned paper and the other I pop dotted up from the frame over the words that was also pop dotted up from the base card. I added a touch of polka dot ribbon and then some white fuzzy brads to the corners of the frame. The paper was just a scrap I had in my stash I am not sure where it is from but I thought the snowflakes were appropriate since we have an abundance of them of late!
