FCD Presents Digital D'Illusions ~ For Real!

The official start time of this Hop is Friday, at 8:00 AM (EST). If you arrived early, please be patient as all the links may not be live yet.

For this month's theme, the challenge was to use any FireCracker Designs Digitals , and create an opitcal illusion! We could use any other FCD images too but we had to include a FireCracker Designs digital.

I printed the digital And Audrey was her name image onto my white card stock and then I colored her with Copic markers and scanned her back in to the computer. Then I “wove” a little magic on my piece for the D’Illusion part of the challenge and here is what I ended up with…

Digital D'Illusion

It looks like the picture was woven together with multiple doesn’t it? Well not really it is all just one flat piece. LOL

Digital D'Illusion - CloseUp

I used 2 TJ techs for this card One called Faux Felt (Feb/March 09) and Torn Frames (Dec08/Jan09) I actually made the Faux Felt piece first and instead of tearing the paper all the way off I rolled the edges in to create the frame. I am pleased with how it came out.

Paper is from Hollo’s and also the base is Banana Split Pop Tones from Paper Temptress. Brad is from Creative Imaginations, Flowers are Prima and one is colored with Copics to be the shade I wanted.

Remember FCD does “circular blog hops” where the only beginning is wherever you start!! You will know you are at the end of your blog hop when you’ve come back to the blog you’ve started from! (It’s not a huge circle…so it should be easy to remember where you started.)

BLOG CANDY!! One winner will be chosen from a mystery blog hostess…so you’ll want to leave a comment on EVERY blog so you don’t miss out! It’s like a treasure hunt inside a blog hop…he he he Prize this month?? 5 Free digitals!!
For the Birds; Audrey; Giroid-Hey There!; Manaone; Warm My Heart

**Winner will be contacted by Pamela via e-mail (so be sure to leave it with your comment.) or you can also find out on Pamela’s blog after the blog hop ends on Mon, at 8:00 PM (EST).**

Now, to continue the circle, you will need to hop on over to Cat’s blog (she is one of the DigiD’s!- tell her I said hi too! It’s her first hop!) then keep going until you’ve come back to where you started! Thanks so much for playing along with us and we hope you have a great time!

hugs,

I love the look of this card. I will admit is scares me to death thinking about trying to make it, though. It doesn't sound so hard but it looks very difficult. I love unique ideas like this. Thank you so much for sharing your creativity with us.
