Heart Strings image is from FireCracker Designs by Pamela and I colored with Copic Markers. Paper is Basic Grey, added a few pink rhinestones to the lower right corner and walah!

I don’t know who the maker of this image is but it is stamped on Paper Temptress paper and colored with Copic Markers then I applied white sticky dots to my card base, ran the brayer over my Kaliedacolor pad then over them and added the little girl and a bit of ribbon.

…you know when you collect a gazillion catalogs cause there was that one thing you wanted or you are strolling thru a craft show and you pick one up at every stop. They often have full color pictures of the stamps in them and I can’t bear to throw them out but after awhile the space issues comes into play and just how many of these are you to keep? After talking to a friend about weeding out things and only keeping what is needed I opted to cut apart the catalogs, saving a few images to use on cards and this is one of them! I paired the cut outs from Inky Antics with some punched circles, a square card base and stamped two lines from FireCracker Designs by Pamela’s Cken Up on You set to create this quick belated birthday card.
These are the last 2 booklets I had made for my Mom last month when she had her women’s group meeting. They are cute and great for tucking into one’s pocketbook.
Coaster Booklet made with TAC papers and ribbon pieces. Added the flower and brad too can’t recall where they are from possibly TAC also.
Fold up booklet opens to reveal several double pages which I randomly adhered some of the additional punched out pieces to. Everything is again TAC.

Started working on a few Easter cards and this is one I was really pleased with. I used a card kit given to me by Anna when I was visiting her last and I messed up the image so I had to improvise :) Well I like this one much better anyway so it’s all good!
The cross and sentiment are both part of the He Is Risen set from Elemental Doodles. Papers I am thinking are Bazzil cause they have a bit of texture to them. Pearls are from Queen & Co and the inks I used were Memento Tuxedo Black and Rich Cocoa.
Can you believe that Easter is in just one more week? Do you have any special plans? I am not sure yet what or if we are doing anything.

I made this fun Spring card for a swap in one of my groups! The image is from TAC called No Bunny Like You (T-2354) and the Happy Spring is just a misc stamp I collected somewhere along the way.
I popped the bunny up a bit you can see here from the side view.
The background paper is some left over from some card kits I had received in the mail (I think Annie’s Attic) Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

While cleaning up and sorting the various die cuts I have collected all over the place I came across these that I believe I just got from Anna while I was visiting her in WI. I thought the little drawbridge perfect for an interactive birthday card! So if you tip it open you see the It’s your… and inside I stamped BIRTHDAY, silly! Both from the Birthday Wishes set by FCD.
I added some stickles to the green dragon who is guarding the castle and I matted the die cuts with some DCWV Once Upon a Time paper. Simple card and I think I will put it away for my nephew’s birthday this summer!
For this month's theme, the challenge was to use any FireCracker Designs Digitals , and create an opitcal illusion! We could use any other FCD images too but we had to include a FireCracker Designs digital.
I printed the digital And Audrey was her name image onto my white card stock and then I colored her with Copic markers and scanned her back in to the computer. Then I “wove” a little magic on my piece for the D’Illusion part of the challenge and here is what I ended up with…
It looks like the picture was woven together with multiple doesn’t it? Well not really it is all just one flat piece. LOL
I used 2 TJ techs for this card One called Faux Felt (Feb/March 09) and Torn Frames (Dec08/Jan09) I actually made the Faux Felt piece first and instead of tearing the paper all the way off I rolled the edges in to create the frame. I am pleased with how it came out.
Paper is from Hollo’s and also the base is Banana Split Pop Tones from Paper Temptress. Brad is from Creative Imaginations, Flowers are Prima and one is colored with Copics to be the shade I wanted.
Remember FCD does “circular blog hops” where the only beginning is wherever you start!! You will know you are at the end of your blog hop when you’ve come back to the blog you’ve started from! (It’s not a huge circle…so it should be easy to remember where you started.)

One of the groups I am in had a swap where we each stamped off a few image(s) to send to our partner with a completed card we had made. We then had to return a card to them made with the image(s) they had stamped us. I like these kind of swaps because it gives new ideas on how to use the stamps we have.
My partner sent me this fun flamingo and she was just screaming pink and black at me since the image was already stamped on some hot pink paper. So I grabbed some TAC paper and some black stickles and the fun flocked sticky border.

What a fun card to make for the holiday, if only I had gotten it in the mail on time LOL! Well better late than never. This is another of the new FireCracker Design Digitals that Pamela has for sale and it is a co-digi from Cat and Pamela.
Hope you all have a safe celebration, we plan to go out for Corn Beef & Cabbage, I doubt there will be any green beer drinking on my part as I don’t like beer!

I used paper from The Paper Temptress (Orange Fizz and Lemondrop Pop Tones Papers) as well as some from Basic Grey’s Porcelain line and some cream paper from Hollo’s.
Copic Markers for coloring and Palette Orangerie for edging the papers. I also used Versafine Onyx Black to stamp the bird silhouette's and sentiment.
Stamps I used were For The Birds (FCDPC015), A Little Bird Told Me and Innies & Outties 3 – Christian.
Technique is from TJ called Out of the Box & Double Bugging for which I used the Cuttlebug Diamonds in the Rough and Swiss Dots.

I made this card for my TJ 1-4-1 partner for the month of February. I couldn’t wait to play with the new Got Chocolate set from FireCracker Designs and I figured it went well with the “Easter Bunny” from You Quack Me Up! set. You can’t really see it in the photo but the upper purple strip says “got chocolate?” on it. The technique is called Bingo Blast and was a past Technique Junkies one.
I colored with a combination of Copic Markers, Twinkling H2O’s (Cherry Sorbet) and then I paper pieced the headband and bowtie on the “Easter Bunny” with some Making Memories Just Chillin scraps I had laying around.

I needed a Sympathy card – probably my least favorite kind to make. I want to bring a smile to the person’s face or a spot of color in an otherwise gray period and yet I want to be tasteful and not offend them by being “too happy” KWIM?!?! Anywhoooo I used this flower image and painted my Twinkling H2O’s right onto the stamp before stamping it off 2 times (different colors for each part: Moss Green, Mango Mama & Cherry Sorbet) then I cut the pieces parts out and layered them to make a simple but colorful flower. I used Making Memories paper from the Just Chillin’ line and then added the sentiment from CTMH stamped with Memento Desert Sand Ink. I hope that it brought some comfort to the recipient at the time and that perhaps the color brought her a moment of happiness when she needed it.

Here is another of the cards I had made while at the TAC seminar (years ago) and it was hiding with the star book I posted earlier this week. I love the stamping of the white on the transparency and how it is then layered over a Versamarked background print. Just one line across there so only a hit of it but so cool looking! A little bit of ribbon flair and the card is ready to go! So simple and elegant!

While I was in WI my friend Anna gave me some die cuts she didn’t want. These cupcake trios were in there so I put them with some patterned papers and made a few quick birthday cards since my stash is somewhat depleted at the moment!
Papers are scraps I had in my bin and just cut to size. Same with the ribbon. I used pop dots behind the cupcakes on the multi-pattern paper card the other ones are flat to the card front.

Remember the candy purses from {this post}? Well this is one of the items that was hiding in the front of the box :) A star book that was started when I attended the TAC 10 year Seminar celebration with a friend! If you are familiar with TAC you know that was a few years ago {grin!} I was cleaning and found it and my mom wanted some fun booklet type things so I figured it fit the bill. I finished it off and she was pleased as pie with it! WeeHawwww! I don’t recall the paper line names and all that so you just have to enjoy the snapshots I got. All supplies are TAC though except the ribbon which are probably Really Reasonable Ribbon scraps I had laying around.

Celebrate Froggie is one of Pamela’s famous frogs only in digital form! He is perched atop a yummy looking cupcake!
The background paper is from the Basic Grey Porcelain line – I LOVE BG PAPER! I used Copics and Sakura pens to color him in. Did a little Out of the box technique and then edged the paper with some Landscape Palette Ink before adding swirls of rhinestones to make it festive for the party! LOL
I used some great Lime Ricky Basic Grey Paper and a gray card base. Coloring was done with Twinkling H2O’s and Copic Markers. The image stamp is from Leanne Ellis called Fly Free and you can get it thru Sugar Nellie’s Retail Department (Funky Kits) Fiskars Threading Water punch and some Great blue Really Reasonable Ribbon in the background there if you can see it too! I kinda felt like she was floating in mid air so I used one of my A-Muse ovals to “ground” her too.
I had thought this was one of the Pink Elephant sketches but the # I had written down wasn’t even a sketch challenge but a color challenge so I have no idea where the sketch was from – sorry and if you know please tell me so I can link it up!

Another birthday card made using a Sassy Cheryl’s digital image called A Load of Cake and then wording from FireCracker Designs Let’s Celebrate. The paper is from Making Memories Just Chillin’ Line and I used a Fiskars Punch to add an edge to some bright orange paper along the right side under the image. Colored with Prisma WaterColor Pencils and then edges with belle Rose Palette Ink.
Hope this girl finds her balance quick like and doesn’t drop the cake :)

Here is the companion Shroom2 that Katie drew. I choose to cut this one out with my scalloped oval punch instead of leaving it in the larger circle. I used Twinkling H2O’s to color it and some Lilac Palette Ink to edge the punch oval and the punched scalloped circle of green. Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and used Pop Dots between my image and the circle mat. Can you see on the card base I used one of the new stamps from the Got Chocolate set? It says “Nobody knows the truffles I’ve seen”
